A row of fifteen food businesses along a 120m stretch of Logan Road is now rising in reputation, fondly called Eat Street. Business has been booming as of late, thanks to an influx of people coming in via nearby unit developments.
“The area was always known as a foodie area,” says Matt Roman, gourmet pie maker from Piefection.
“The units are not starting – they are here. Absolutely more people are here.”
Business owners are pleased with this change and enjoying steadier patronage. Regular customers mingle with people coming from far and wide, eager to sample the local fare.
“They come from everywhere – Carindale, Mansfield, Tarragindi, Camp Hill and Coorparoo,’’ says Hallowed Grounds owner April Shen.
