A 9-hole footgolf course is set to open this weekend at Mt. Gravatt Mini Golf at the Mt. Gravatt Showgrounds.
Footgolf is a combination of the skills of football and the rules and scoring of golf, creating a fun and unique sport suitable for all ages.
The ball is played in a single movement, and the players must wait til the ball has come completely to rest. After the tee shot, the player with the ball furthest from the hole is next to move. The ball is played from where it lies.
Mt. Gravatt Mini Golf requests that proper attire be worn, with studded soccer shoes not allowed. Players are encouraged to bring their own balls, but there are balls for rent at $2 per round.
The course is set to open tomorrow, November 12th, with a one-year membership giveaway on their Facebook page closing tomorrow as well.
