In recent statistics conducted by RACQ, it is seen that among Brisbane’s shopping centres, Garden City ranks as second-highest in carpark collisions. There were 104 insurance claims made regarding collisions, next to 121 from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre in Brisbane’s West from January 2015 to August 2016. This is followed by Carindale Shopping Centre at 92 claims made.
Aside from this, Garden City ranks fourth in vehicle break-ins with 35 claims. Still topping the list is Indooroopily Shopping Centre with 49.
It is wise to always be vigilant even when visiting places that are presumed to be safe. Practice road courtesy and make sure to keep all your valuables close by and attended to, in order to lessen the risk of these incidents occurring.
